Die Stadt atmet aus,
Schnee tanzt in der Dunkelheit,
landet weich auf Straßen und Schultern.

Die Kälte beißt sanft,
Atem wird sichtbar,
ein leises Flüstern zwischen den Lichtern.

Fenster glühen warm,
Schritte knirschen im Takt,
die Welt gedämpft, als hielte sie den Atem an.

Der Tag war lang,
doch die Nacht verspricht nichts—
nur ein sanftes Weiterziehen,
bis der Morgen ruft.
