Garland in progress: earlier today I tested length, gathered the missing greenery and got ready for finishing touches.

Working on the floor now for ease due to the length. This is the longest project I've ever done! The goal is to have enough to frame an archway.
Also improved my tools; got rid of the cheap plastic wire holder and replaced it with a piece of wood from the kid's toy box. Then stole from @Crumbee his gloves to prevent blistering, since I couldn't find mine. I promise to return everything when finished!
