The Demon King's Daughter is Too Kind!! Episode 1 Impressions

This is super cute. Doux is an adorable child, and I love how Jahi and the Demon King try to make her evil, and always immediately fail.

I was surprised at the super emotional moment of the show. I'll check out a couple more episodes, but I'm unsure if this will be one I keep up with weekly. I can see it as something I check out an episode or 2 of here and there.

The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife Episode 1 Impressions

OMG THIS IS ADORABLE!!! I absolutely love this couple. The show looks pretty good, and the dynamic is just so good. Yako is just too damn cute.

I also love the 2 co-workers. Jarashi is awesome! I really think I'm going to enjoy this one if it maintains these vibes going forward.

There was a Cute Girl in the Hero’s Party, so I Tried Confessing to Her Episode 1 Impressions

First off this show doesn't look very good. The character designs and action look cheap.

After the MC confesses and gets rejected though, it had some great laugh out loud moments. Had no clue this was an isekai either.

After the rejection moment though, it gets a bit boring again. Even with its obvious problems, it has a good amount of cute moments. I doubt this will be a weekly watch, but I can see myself binging down the road.

Tune In to the Midnight Heart Episode 1 Impressions

The MC kind of sucks huh? I am interested in his search for the online radio personality he used to listen to and chat with, but he's such a douche in this first episode.

The girls are cute, and while their character designs are pretty tropey, they work well for their archetypes. Sadly the MC's character design is extra bland.

Sadly the humor wasn't hitting as well as you hope for a rom-com. But the mystery of who Apollo is, is so intriguing. GAH!! Giving it another ep or 2

Finished anime: Sorairo Utility
Another nice hobby anime that was a relaxing watch for winding down. I have never really been interested in golf but it brought across the joy and fun of it.
The characters weren’t too special but worked well for me.
If I had to highlight one highlight it would be the cross-generational connect with the older guys at the golf range. Also I just like the penguin mascot.
And, of course, the sometimes really Studio Trigger like eyecatch illustrations mid-episode 😄

Finished anime: Ameku MD
We put this off for a while which was good because it allowed us to watch whole cases / arcs without waiting time.
My initial impression was that this is a classical detective story except the cases just so happen to require medical knowledge, but there was much more variety in the kinds of cases Ameku investigated. I was also positively surprised by the episode that showed her troubled about her inability to read emotions and be accordingly considerate to patients (honestly that was kind of relatable to me).
I did notice that the art quality deteriorated during the season which was a pity.
I wouldn’t need another season but think I’d watch it.

Finished anime: From Bureaucrat to Villainess
This was mainly good because Kenzaburous attitude and way of seeing things is refreshingly different from what we usually see in anime. I really appreciate him being a dad but also a nerd, but not nerdy enough to know exactly where the game is leading him.
The other characters were okay considering that they are supposed to be stereotypical romance game characters. Unfortunately the bad puns of Richard were too hard to get across, at least for the person doing the German subtitles.

It was just a pity that the story couldn’t conclude in one season, at some point it seemed like it would be possible.
