I've been involved in a few archival projects lately and I did a little experiment on one of my favorite #wingsoffire MAPs, Ready As I'll Ever Be. The video is only 480p and so I found as many parts from individual artists as I could and put them together. The full HD scenes look awesome! But I only found about a third. The rest are lost outside the combined video.

[P] Well, this has all been something of a revelation. And, as I said, it was staring me right in the face with how the three SandWing queens are literally the Dark Triad. Wow. How did I not notice that... Well, I'll be keeping my eyes open from now on, with future books. I do have to thank Tui though for giving me such a gift of utter catharsis. Hm. I don't know what else to add beyond being flabbergasted that I missed this.

[P] Wings of Fire has always felt like a place to retreat to, a safe haven where the world can become better. I hadn't realised how much though that in Wings of Fire this is only true because neurodivergents are supplanting neurotypicals. It's fascinating that the SkyWing queen was given a neurodivergent empathy "curse" hy Scarlet (because of course Scarlet sees empathy as weakness), only for her to choose to kesp that "curse."
