Speaking of nostalgic tech one of such gadgets for me are WindowsPhone smartphones, predominantly the ones with #windowsphone7 - great typing experience, great cameras (for that time), blazing fast UI, sleek and comfortable in hand. They were miles ahead of Android phones at the beginning. What a shame it's all got vanished :(

I forgot that Windows Phone only showed a close button on the focused window in Multitasking but I think being able to close other windows is more useful. If you want to, I can add an option to only show the close button for the window at the center of the screen.

If someone hasn't done it already, I think it would be cool to figure out how the Clicks hardware keyboard's app works and what it does and port its functions to Linux in case any of the Android versions can fit a Linux phone easily enough with or without modifications. Maybe see if it works on any Windows Phones, too (8.1 Update 2 added Bluetooth keyboard support and 10 added mouse support).

Today I learned there's another thing called Retiled which seems to be pretty new, I never heard about it before. It's a Live Tile and application restoration project for Windows Phone and Windows 8.x.

Fun fact: July 11, 2013 was the day I got my original Lumia 822. I know this because that's the day my email says I got the email from "Hotmail Member Services" that says "Getting started with your mail account" and I made my current email address that day because I couldn't log in with my existing one.
