I have a fear that the "copilot" icon is the Windows 12 icon and Microslop is trying to get everyone used to it years in advance. This fear is inspired by various concepts I've seen and stuff about "AI" slop being baked even further into Windows in the future.

We all turn on our computers and see #Windows boot screens based on computer model (BIOS model as well) before we go to the login screen.

This is what the #Windows12 login screen may look like once the OS is revealed.

It's going to be a cloud-based login (most likely through #MicrosoftAzure), and it will mark the end of the 2012-present lock screen era, as Microsoft will transition to cloud-based logins like other operating systems may have done.

What will you do when Windows 12 comes out? Will you be like me and upgrade the day it is launched, or will you also be like me and have Linux installed?

Also, will the operating system be awesome for ARM-powered computers, or will its AI become as intrusive as Clippy? How about a bit of both? One really likes to hope the "good Windows, bad Windows" theory applies here.

Maybe the "good Windows, bad Windows" cycle theory still holds and we are just living with another bad iteration of Windows. If so, I am cautiously optimistic that Microsoft will release a quality operating system, one that prioritizes user experience and privacy. Let's hope it delivers.
