Back to the distro-hopping!
I'm planning to install #Arch with #WindowMaker this time around. There's just something about that clean, functional UI that never gets oldβthe perfect blend of stability and that classic #NeXTSTEP aesthetic.
Does anyone still run Window Maker in 2026? How's the daily driver experience?
Also, looking for tips on customization. What are your go-to tools or dotfiles setups to make it truly yours?

I don't know who needs to hear this, but there is a somebody out there who made it possible to use a #WindowMaker Mixer dockapp with #OpenBSD #sndiod.
This seems like an almost complete copy of the MacOS user interface.
It's using #GNUStep but not #WindowMaker
Interesting to see that it's being targeted as a #FreeBSD desktop environment, although of course it also runs on #Linux
