2 new characters unlocked, Mr. Pull-ups & Mr. Fancy. It seems in general even if they can look menacing at the get-go they’re all good overall and want to protect people.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ The panel with Umemiya telling him “Your punches are weak”. Hilarious. The power of friendship and being a good boy prevail? That hug was creepy. Of course, Umemiya did not want another gang to join theirs. Especially when the interests are completely opposite. How would he even convert them to their culture of helping the neighborhood?

The rival band war arc (?) is almost over. Not sure if the last fight will be as good as the one Sakura had.
Good pace, intense panels and good overall even if some of the backstories were not as interesting.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hiragi’s fight was good. The flashback, meh, couldn’t care less about the other dude. They had a “nice conversation” as the leader would say. I love how he’s apoligizing while at the same time hitting him in the guts with all his might. Sakura’s fight is starting and I get the feeling it won’t be one-sided like the previous ones.

Very solid, and quickly paced volume. No time to talk, time to fight.
Art style continues to be good and we get introduced to more interesting characters, like the leader of Fuurin. Not what one would expect.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sakura gets hyped to meet the other band’s strong member, itching for a fight 😂 We have learned how they deal with their crew. Feels very much like Star Wars Empire, one mistake and you’re out. The top Fuurin leader, who’s supposed to be the strongest is of course everything but menacing at first glance.

Wind Breaker volume 1 by Satoru Nii is read ✅
I have mixed feelings. I like the drawing style, and the pace, so far the main character is very shonen, it has most of the ingredients to make it interesting.
At the end of the day I’m here for the fights, so I hope they don’t dwell too much on being the neighborhood pacifists and start fist-fighting.
I will buy the next volume 💸

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 😂 Cracked me up the third year running at full speed to stop Sakura from talking about that girl from the store. Is she the general’s sister? Girlfriend? We learn a bit about the commanding structure and the names are super strange, I would have chosen something more easy to remember for those not familiar with Buddhism or whatnot.
