Mentally ill teenager with SCISSORS. Pigs escalated the situation in the family home. The teen ager was shot and killed by pigs.

IMHO, having never dealt with a mentally ill sibling, I understand that, but it seems to me that pigs should never be phoned for this stuff. Pigs are legalised thugs, not mental health workers.

I have a question, particularly to people with family members who are susceptible to mental heath crises:
What do people think of the idea of setting up a #mutualaid network to respond to people in mental crisis at a family home instead of calling pigs?

And as someone just suggested to me: I'd also like to hear from people who have had a mental health crisis. What would you prefer, instead of pigs? Who and how would you prefer to have someone respond to you?
