What is your favorite stage of writing a story? Why?

When I flow into that first scene with/as a character and their entire book reveals itself in my head. My best process is first chapter-blurb-synopsis-the rest of the book

Sometimes blurb comes first because of contracts or suggestions from editor or agent, but I like it best when I can flow into it from a character’s deep POV. #WillaReece #WildwoodWhispers #WildwoodMagic

#writingwonders June 21. How does your day job or life affect what you write?

I live at the edge of several hundred wild acres close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I hike with my dogs every day. I’ve always believed in the magic of art and nature and how creativity empowers and connects. #WildwoodWhispers and #WildwoodMagic are def influenced by a creative’s life and work in #Appalachia #WillaReece (And all the wildwood creatures I encounter every day!)
