In order to get a picture of the grave of Otto #Steurenthaler in #Probstried in #Allgäu, I created a #FindAGrave profile for him and added a picture request in July 2025. When the request was fulfilled this February, I asked the photographer, if I may use the photo on the #WikiTree profile https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Steurenthaler-76 as well. Now she replied, that I may use it and that she recognized him from WikiTree profile. They didn't know each other, but she would meet him outside sometimes and nod at him.

I finally understood how the profile of Joseph #Pfefferle at #FindAGrave could have such a different month of birth, than what my research suggested it should be. Also, I'm a bit proud of my conclusions to identify the origin of this German immigrant to #Shelby from #Münstertal.

Wow, I'm really late for breakfast and work, but therefore, I managed to finish writing the first draft for the profile of Christian (von) Bank, who had died in #Hinterzarten in 1629 and might have emigrated there from #Vorarlberg in the 16th century already. It's still a bit raw, but I would like to brag with it anyway. Feel free to point out typos, wrong words etc. (or edit them directly).
