Asking customers to telephone is now a punishment, and increasingly used as a way to discourage us from pursuing our rights because telephoning organisations is so often a terrible experience.
Latest businesses I refuse to phone:
- #BarclaysBank, to claim their poultry £100 compensation
- #Wickes, to get a refund on an item they sent knowing it was broken
Business needs to compete for customers on service, not punish us to accept derisory offers. #ConsumerRights
