I watched the trailer of the next Wicked movie.

So we're seeing the Wizard interact with Dorothy in a notable departure from the stage version. I'm interested to see what else they add.

The trailer also has Elphie say she has only ever had one friend (Glinda), which erases the poignant moment in the first movie when Dr. Dillamond called Elphaba a friend. Also it indicates she never considers the monkeys or Fiyero friends. Boo.

The bits of music we hear sound excellent.
