Michelle Yeoh is naar eigen zeggen "geschokt" dat de film Wicked: For Good dit jaar geen enkele nominatie heeft ontvangen voor de Oscars. Dat zei de actrice, in de film te zien als Madame Morrible, in een interview met Variety.

I watched Wicked 2 last night. Very highly recommended. Gripping throughout, with really beautiful cinematography, especially the cheerful bright colours of Munchkinland.

And both Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have amazingly beautiful voices.

Also surprisingly topical.

#Amazon just took down the listing for the #Wicked2 (For Good) #DVD & now only lists the movie for purchase by download (and presumably for viewing only via streaming) on #PrimeVideo later. 🤬

Hate the way that the major media companies -- like Amazon, #Apple, #Netflix are others -- are trying to kill DVDs & to monopolize & control film media thru PPV streaming. ☹️

Mhm ich hab neulich Wicked 2 im Kino geschaut. Während die Welt und die Kostüme wieder wirklich schön waren, wirkte das ganze doch irgendwie zusammengeschustert.

Sehr viele Sprünge und irgendwie eine schwer verfolgbare Handlung.

Es fehlten auch so richtige Ohrwürmer, wovon es im ersten Film einfach 2-3 gab.

Ein bisschen schade für zwei Filme, die auf einem Musical basieren, was ja selbst nur so lang ist wie einer der Filme alleine.
