Giving #FreeCAD 1.0 RC1 a go. So far, so amazing! 🙂

Next up, rebuilding the model of my #WhootCNC with the integrated assembly workbench (currently A2plus) to get actually moving axis. 🤓

Woohoo, progress on the #WhootCNC!

X-axis mechanics looking good so far. The motors seem to shrink, the more parts I add. 😄 But for now, it is what it is.

What it also is, is getting quite heavy: 23.4 kg. 😮

A bit of New Year's progress on the #WhootCNC. Basic Z-axis mechanics are done (for now).

Whoohoo! Finally some progress on the #WhootCNC! X-axis mounts done.

This is as far as I came with the #whootCNC on the weekend. Apart from the linear rails that need to get tightened down, the basic X/Y frame is done.
