Well, I guess that was inevitable. Hopeless Whitley Bay performance, second goal was a giveaway and pretty much killed the game, and the sending off was just the icing. Frankly 3-0 flattered Whitley!
An enjoyable afternoon at Hillheads watching Whitley Bay convincingly beating Whickham (although the scoreline was maybe a bit flattering)
A Garforth Town defensive howler presented Whitley Bay with the first, and a well worked move provided a second minutes later. But, from them on it was tight, end to end stuff with Garforth pulling one back before half-time, but unable to level despite a valiant second-half.

At Hillheads this evening watching Whitley Bay get trounced by a lively West Allotment. In my experience wherever The Bay lose they lose big! The match was pretty much over before the first half sending off put the final nail in! Ending 0-6, it could have (and maybe should have) reached double figures!
Domestic football in July is an abomination but here I am back at Hillheads in a persistent drizzle watching Whitley Bay getting trounced by the club that Wimbledon replaced in the Football League back in 1977.
