Although this is widely believed to be the first zombie movie; that title should actually belong to a Czech horror from 1921 titled Prichozi z temnot

So that's definitely "More Human Than Human" by White Zombie on this 1996 ECW show. I'm torn... on one hand, I've always loved this song. On the other hand, I first heard it in the mid-2000s. Learning it was over half a decade old by then is certainly something..!

I feel like Lugosi was cast not just b/c he was right for the part & experiencing a career high but b/c he was already lurking in the castle set

tbh I’d rather be Béla Lugosi’s zombie thrall than be married to that dud

There was a sequel made in 1936 but, due to a lawsuit, “Revolt of the Zombies” was unable to promote itself as such. It does, however, feature recycled footage from “White Zombie” (1932). You can watch “Revolt of the Zombies” (1936) for free here (https://youtu.be/ZV1jgjnH0MU?si=81jBQqw8-nnJ5D_T)

Due to the time and budgetary concerns, set pieces and props from various other Universal horror films were used to make “White Zombie” (1932) including the castle interiors from “Frankenstein” (1931)

According to Béla Lugosi’s son, “White Zombie” (1934) was one of Lugosi’s favorite films to work on, even despite his $800 payday for the 11 day shoot where he even directed a few shots!
