3/5: A fast-paced book, easy reading with super simple language and short chapters that gave this a YA feeling. Adam is a hot mess of daddy issues, mommy issues, brother issues, ex issues, all sorts of issues. For some reason, he reminded me a LOT of Dean Winchester. I just read the #AdamBinder trilogy by #DavidRSlayton in under a week and I LOVED it. I appreciated how different chapters cover the same content just from different perspectives. The world building is amazing and the story almost Dresden-esque…but what I REALLY liked is the characters didn’t get to take short cuts in the end and that made it all the more satisfying. Highly recommend!
