By putting their main characters in "a fulltime nanny, or nothing" scenarios, they disregard the reality of 99% of women in the world where it's barely affordable, or unaffordable daycare, or family.
Even the cop family has a better option than most families.
The "struggles" with care the two main families are having are singular and unique, not at all universal, and that's the biggest flaw of the show.

Media like All Her Fault (the tv show) present their white, wealthy female characters as universal representations of motherhood and the expectations society puts on all women in relation to children.
So far (episode 6) in this well-done drama they've missed a chance to depict a specific story highlighting that *not even* wealth, whiteness, and options fully shield women from the full burden of child care.
