If you decided during Windows install to upload your bitlocker keys to Microsoft, just know that Microsoft will hand these keys to authorities like the FBI if asked. So don't upload your keys. Which is the obvious thing to do anyway.
I saw some posts here "forgetting" to mention that uploading the keys to Microsoft is a requirement for them to be able hand them over to the FBI. Better clickbait, I guess.
