I had a phone call with my gp on Friday, as no in person appointments left. I went through all the problems with my hands. Red, hot and itchy, or white and numb, painful joints, can’t bend, angry bumpy bits and swollen, can’t fully bend, and there’s pain when I try. It’s the same fingers on both hands.

She asked for some pics which I sent, and she said she would ring back with a plan. I’ve still not heard from her, and they’re getting worse.

Because it looks like maybe a few different things, I feel like I’ve tried everything, but nothing is helping.

I’m late coming back with the mystery answer! It’s giant TACTICAL black rubber bands! I think about 65 in 4 sizes. I use them often to close up bags of food that need to be tightly closed for freshness and often things put in the freezer or refrigerator.

I’ve always just used miscellaneous rubber bands, often the ordinary beige ones. But as I added to my list of things to order I had the thought maybe there are heavy duty large rubber bands and there are! Check out the screenshot. If you look at the Amazon product page the comments cracked me up. Manly men happy to have “tactical” rubber bands. And use them in ways I am not acquainted with. My funny moment of the day so far: received a box packed full of things I ordered from Amazon and of course since it was very early I couldn’t think well. So first I pull out a plastic packaging bag of box padding. Or is it! Ha, took me a few minutes to realize it’s something I ordered for household use. Can you tell what it is? I’ll reply to guesses and Bingo for the winning guess.
