I told her I love her and all she could say back was "whatever." It's crazy how someone can pour their heart out into a whole paragraph, just to get hit with a cold, one-word reply that completely shuts things down. Even though this didn't happen to me personally, it's a scenario that makes you just have to laugh at the unexpected reaction and think about how wild the dating world can be.
