@bookstodon Currently reading Vaster Wilds by Lauren Groff--so good! and Terry Pratchett: A Life with Footnotes--delightful! #WhatchaReadingWednesday

@kimlockhartga Just started Kraken by China Mieville. I was unimpressed by Un Lun Dun, though it was so long ago that I can't remember whhhhhy. So I thought I'd give him another go as he's so highly rated and this seemed like the most accessible entry point (i.e. not MASSIVE, (looking at you Perdido Street Station) or set in a second world.) Readable so far, interested to see where it goes!

#IAmReading Life After Life by Kate Atkinson. Thanks for the recommendation @datn #WhatchaReadingWednesday
@kimlockhartga @bookstodon I'm re-reading Ursula K. Le Guin's the Dispossessed. First read it back in the late 90s and missed so much. Now I'm reading this capitalism v anarchism story and every chapter elicits a holy crap! for one reason or another.

@bookstodon Even if it doesn't catch on, I would like to institute #WhatchaReadingWednesday a hashtag which already exists, I believe? Anywho, whatcha reading?

#IAmReading Ben H. Winter's new book BIG TIME, and it's really good so far. It is lean, so perfect for those who hate padding in their stories. I don't want to give away the premise, so I will just say that it's a bit of a thriller that involves time itself.
