The problem of subjectivity

subjects know nothing

they feel only what they are allowed to feel

like the declaration of human rights

they misread it as permission to be assholes that must only care about getting money

or simple tenancy rules, Just because the landlord put up a note that no noise after 10pm they feel entitled to complain about the struggling parents who's baby is crying after 10pm

f*CK subjectivity

and fuck the old suckers like lorenzer who wanted to keep a Catholic church that creates subjects at the second vaticanum.

Thank God pope Leo had the humility to let his institution change.

Keep protesting the deliberate ethnic cleansing this government is doing

Here’s the article. Taxpayers and utility customers essentially subsidize these behemoths that don’t end up creating many jobs. AI def takes jobs away. Industry hides and obfuscates the sheer amount of water and e energy they consume. #tech #ai #whatarewedoing

@gratefuldread So by passing that bill, they're essentially saying "mass shootings are no big deal."

Awesome. And we experienced just how big of a deal they truly are *last year.*

What on Earth have these poor souls done to deserve being double-crossed like that?

Wrote a little piece about how we all get lost in the art of being busy. Feels like somehow being busy has become more important than even achieving goals or milestones. Do you ever find yourself thinking, “What am I even doing?” Check out the essay on @medium

Why are we all running around doing a whole lot of nothing and going nowhere fast?

This summer has been the hottest on record

The U.N. weather agency says Earth endured its hottest Northern Hemisphere summer ever measured with a record warm August capping a season of brutal and deadly temperatures. Last month was not only the hottest August scientists ever recorded by far with modern equipment. It also was the second hottest month measured, behind only July 2023. That's according to the World Meteorological Organization and the European climate service Copernicus. August was about 1.5 degrees Celsius, or 2.7 degrees Fahrenheit, warmer than pre-industrial averages — the warming threshold that the world is trying not to pass.
