Haven't looked up the matrix code on the Gaucho CD yet but I think it might be a first pressing (1984, only four years after the album was released which feels like a fast track for a CD pressing in those days)
As for Cracked Magazine, while it existed in Mad’s shadow for many years, it had its own stable of characters, though perhaps with less cultural staying power. Just don’t get me started on R. Crumb. That dude’s in the crosswalk in front of me!
This Spy vs. Spy graffiti I saw today reminded me of the Spy vs. Spy video game which I played on NES in the early 1990s. It was split screen PvP and you had to gather items while also leaving booby-traps for your opponent.
If you won your spy would chuckle deviously while getting away.
