The #WexfordBus fleet needs maintenance. The 8:30 pm from Dublin airport last night had no tracker to show when it would arrive, and had a buzzer going off every second for my 1.5hr journey. Pity the driver, who had it for the entire trip.
And the USB chargers didn't work.

#TFI showed a Gorey-Dublin Bus Eireann at 14:54. Now I'm in town it disappeared from the schedule and the #buseireann app claims 15:20ish. Just as well the 14:29 #wexfordbus was delayed just enough.

Irish rail posts on Xitter:
"Services are currently operating with delays through Booterstown/Blackrock due to a signalling issue. Services are also experiencing delays through Salthill due to poor weather conditions. Delays of up to +20mins can be expected as a result."

I thought I'd try slow travel today , the train to Dublin. I didn't realise how slow.
Normally the train is 30 minutes slower than the bus. This makes #wexfordbus a whole hour quicker now.

#WexfordBus signs are interesting for their #linguistic variations. The electronic sign for 'Stop' last week showed СТОП - Cyrillic, probably Russian. This week its 'Duracak' - Turkish.
#Gorey #Wexford has some way to go to be #AgeFriendly. In #StormAgnes people waiting for a bus have to take shelter under a tree from the driving rain and wind. I understand that Main St traders objected to a #bus #shelter for the only bus stop in Gorey.
#Arklow has four bus stops, three with shelters.
#publictransport will have to be less of an endurance test, particularly for older people.
