Last night's view, which was the same as tonight except it was less dusty and smokey and windy. Tonight I saw a sea monster but just dismissed it as following waves with strange crests and shadows.. then several minutes later I saw the head again and it was not the waves! It was just a river otter that found things to eat in that area of the water. A hummingbird was catching bugs, an oriole looking for the last mulberries, a cool breeze.

Last night's Crescent Moon setting in the West with Mercury just below it. I was looking for Comet 13P/Olbermann, but didn't find it.
