Houston police, after claiming man shot by officers opened fire first, subsequently says that’s undetermined
On Wednesday, an HPD assistant chief said a 19-year-old shot by police had fired at officers and "we have evidence to back that up." The department backtracked Thursday, saying it's still investigating whether the injured man fired any shots as he assisted a relative who was burglarized.
