Hello #StormAmy! Candles at the ready. Power packs charged. Blowing a hooley out there. Couple of minor garden casualties thus far - smashed plant pots that I hadn't secured as well as I thought. First real test of the repaired fence and replaced shed that #StormEowyn downed at the start of the year. Reports in the local whatsapp groups of minor road flooding further down the peninsula but thankfully we shouldn't need to stir out. Hope ye're all safe, warm and dry! #WestClare #Kilkee

On the day of the All-Ireland Hurling final I will be in #WestClare with 3 Limerick cousins and their kids (3 Belfast, 3 Brazil, 1 Dublin) watching my mother (83, Miltown Malbay) have kittens, conniptions, and a meltdown for 70 minutes. 😄 #GAA  😆
