We visited Rock Harbor in Wellfleet, MA to see the famous Coast Guard rescue ship CG36500 depicted in the move The Finest Hours and found a little wildlife along the way. Under the ramp down to the dock, there was a barn swallow nest with several chicks and some very attentive parents traveling back and forth with food. They are beautiful birds, but are usually flying at high altitudes so this was a great opportunity to get a look at them!
