I woke up and I had to type this out before I lost it.

I look at the fireworks show that has become
of my life and call each spark and sparkle
something different, divorced from me
as if I were watching the show on a field
on the 4th of July
and it isn't my own life that keeps exploding -

~this came to me in a dream

#WeirdDream time again.

This time, it was sort of a self-documentation kind of thing, in which I was asking myself:

"Hey, remember when you turned 18? You got that Puddle of Mud CD for your birthday. It was the single greatest thing that ever happened to you.

You would go on to graduate high school in three days, and then your life as a young man would truly begin. All-the-while, the anthem to your future success playS.

"She fucking hates me
Trust
, she fucking hates me
La-la-la-love
I tried too hard

And she tore my feelings like I had none
And ripped them away"

WHAT THE HELL, BRAIN? BUT ALSO, HMM... MAYBE.

According to a #WeirdDream I had last nnight, Vox has just released a new delay module, which is Eurorack compatible. It's called the Vox DU-105 TinyDelay, with a maximum delay time of 24 milliseconds.
A follow up to the previous night’s #weirddream had me explaining to #KateMiddleton why she shouldn’t wear a diamond necklace in the daytime. I’m guessing these stupid dreams are caused by #lyrica or #baclofen pain medications
Please, someone, remind me not to work on JJ Flex right before bed while I'm on this unnamed medicine I'm on. Apparently I had JJ flex Radio hooked up to a blender / voice processor unit to increase filter preset tonality, all while making grape juice. You see, the blender turned on when you pressed PTT, but kept fizzing over for some unknown reason, maybe the ALC was set too hot, and big pieces of grape kept shooting across the room at varying speeds based on filter band presets. No, I had no grape juice before bed, all I did was work on a race condition bug that caused a lsb filter setting / filter command issued at the low eend of the band to literally render the radio slice unable unusable until you closed the software. The bug is fixed now, so I have no idea what the hell happened there but anyway. If anyone changes filters on your Flex while using JJ Flex, think of me and this stupid dream I just had. Yep. Now I have to figure out how to fall asleep again after … that. #WeirdDream #HamRadio #JJFlex #HelpMeNow
My best friend’s 12-year-old niece was holding a “smart” sippy cup filled with water. Suddenly I heard water spilling.
Then there was a long, soft chime — not sleigh bells, but those delicate, magical wind-chime tones you hear in Christmas decorations or fantasy scenes.
Then a happy, calm American male voice said:
“Attention! Your sippy cup is punctured.”

When the power came back, I was in that half-awake, half-asleep stage. I think my subconscious knew the generator had shut down, but I actually incorporated it into a dream I suddenly had. In my dream, I was sitting in my chair, not lying in bed, and utility power returned. I checked the time (I think it was around 10:02 or 10:22 or some such in my dream), and was all happy. Then, as dreams often do, mine degenerated into silliness. I realized that my humidifier across the room was making a weird sound sort of like the introduction to the song "Love me Not" by Ravyn Lenae (intro attached so you'll know what I'm talking about). But it was too fast, and at too high of a pitch. In my dream, this was a normal sound for my humidifier to make, just not that fast and high pitched. Obvious conclusion: we were getting too much voltage, and needed to somehow shut everything down immediately so we wouldn't fry anything. Just as my dad was coming down the stairs presumably to alert me to this or ask what was going on, I woke up and thought to myself, "Hmmm…seems awful quiet right now…Oh wait, did the power come on for real?" And of course it had. #WeirdDream
Last night, I had a #weirdDream about a new product announced at NAMM, called the Absorbian. It was basically this dense, compact cube that had two handles you pulled apart, and it expanded into about a 8x8x8 block that completely absorbed any sound around it. Perfect for recording clean vocals in a busy industrial wearhouse, but small enough when folded that you could easily carry it in a purse. It was hollow in the middle, so you put whatever you wanted isolated inside the cube once expanded.

I was apparently arrested at age 20 for committing arson, killing 8 out of 10 people in a building. It was ruled self-defense, as I was escaping a horrible situation.

I was apparently traumatized by this whole deal, and had to live in a group home, where I met a girl who also murdered in self-defense.

Things were going well.

Just as we were really starting to get to know each other, I woke up, and the dog was frantically barking about something, so I guess I'll never know how things turned out.

I was on my bus to school. Usually, we pass a paper mill and it can sometimes bring a bad smell. On this day, it got so bad that the buss had to pull over and we had to go to school in squad cars. #WeirdDream
