After a 3 week gap I had a session with my trainer in the gym and blasted through to a new record: 448lb on the leg press machine! Never thought I'd be able to do that much!

The barbell is still tough to lift, the hex barbell is a lot easier to hold. I bought my own barbell clips and tagged them with rainbow duct tape, the gym doesn't seem to have clips to use.

Just realized if you dont have a mirror availible while #weightlifting a laptop with a webcam works really well as a substitute.

You can record your set too and see how much less straight your back is than you thought it was.

Using the Smith machine for back work can be very useful when you treat it as a tool for control, positioning, and tension rather than just moving weight. πŸ› οΈ

* 60 Single Unders
* 20 Push-Ups
* 40 Single Unders
* 15 Dumbbell Bench Presses (with 2x15kg)

Finished the first round in 2'15" - way too fast. Coach suggested practicing on my double unders from the second set, so there the times were 3'51" (with 1x double under practice) and 4'14" (with 2x double under practice)

Wisdom teeth got taken out on Thursday and I've been forbidden intense exercise for a week or so.
