Took @James_Gardening’s advice and got some flowers for the front yard as temporary annuals. I got these peach begonias that are too tall for the pot I got them in 😅 We do have this one shrub that turned out be a flowering weigela. Hubby got peonies for the back garden and they’re starting to flower. Picked up a Thérèse Bugnet rose shrub for its wonderful fragrance.

I took some pics of some of the flowering shrubs we have in our yard here at our new place in Eureka, CA. The bushes are so old they're literally the size of trees now—they’ve been cleared out underneath and you can walk under them.

This one is from the weigela. We also have two camellias, so we’re blessed wiht a lot of blooms!

I think these bushes are going to render some awesome reference pics for some greeting cards.
