Ai #Weiwei is not worried about AI disrupting art. And he's right, it won't affect his #art.
But.
He's preaching from the highest ivory tower. There are many levels beneath him that he's forgotten about; less exalted, less academic, less wealthy. Right the way down to a kid drawing monsters. If after looking at AI, one person decides not to draw, not to sketch, not to make, because what's the point, then AI is by definition disruptive

For those of you who do not know who Ai Weiwei is, he is a multi-media artist who is most famous for producing works of art designed to protest the totalitarian and life sucking policies of the Chinese Communist Party.
