For #ThickTrunkTuesday I offer two pictures of an impressive #WeepingWillow tree I discovered near Bronte Harbor in Oakville #Canada on #LakeOntario. I particularly like the scientific name of this species, Salix babylonica. The species name reportedly has to do with the hanging gardens. These pictures were taken in October of 2024.
