Static IP vs Rotating IP – quick breakdown πŸ‘‡

Static IP = same address every time. Perfect for stable logins, streaming, gaming, and long-term projects.

Rotating IP = changes on schedule or each request. Great for research, testing, and large-scale data tasks.

πŸš€ Oh great, another piece trying to decode the secret sauce of Brave's 'Agentic Browser Security'β€”a fancy way to say "we might protect you from the Big Bad Web." πŸ€” Don't worry, you can keep your tinfoil hat on while browsing with your NFT collection and AI sidekick, Leo. πŸ¦„πŸ”

Agentic Browser Security: Indirect Prompt Injection in Perplexity Comet | Brave

The attack we developed shows that traditional Web security assumptions don't hold for agentic AI, and that we need new security and privacy architectures for agentic browsing.

Day 2/10: Stop AI Scanners Before They Map Your Site
AI bots don’t need to break in β€” they just watch you first.

β€’ Hide test pages + old folders
β€’ Make error pages boring
β€’ Use headers that limit what’s visible

Less exposure = fewer attacks.

There should be a fork for Firefox-based browsers of this, in my opinion. And then into LibreWolf it goes.

Brave has open sourced a new tool named Cookiecrumbler, which leverages open-source LLMs to detect cookie consent notices across the web.

Mozilla's blog discusses the transition to Manifest V3 for Firefox ad blockers. This change impacts how extensions function, aiming to enhance performance and security. Users may notice differences in ad-blocking capabilities and overall browser experience. The update is part of ongoing efforts to improve web standards and user privacy. #Firefox #ManifestV3 #AdBlockers #WebPrivacy

Just switched from BRAVE to VIVALDI for my browser. I like it so far! But for something that's meant to be low on bloat it took me a bit to arrange all the panels and tab menus to be minimal/non-distracting. I DO really love the translation button being right there, sure that will come in handy, especially as Mastodon tends to show me so many international posts (which is something I really love and don't wanna just scroll by)

Tried out Zen as well this morning, but I can NOT hang with the tabs being on the left side. And can't use my password manager because it's only available for chromium browsers, unfortunately.
