After that, the (a) social #web30 brought us to algorithmic controlled mindset of people based on the most populist content.

It's legit. Populist stuff creates the most emotions thus clicks thus money.

So, do not blame single players. Blame walled gardens with capitalist interest.

[knock, knock] Anyone still home? I've been away from Mastodon for a couple of months building my own rhythm with #Pixelfed.

All in all, trying to figure out whether it'll stick around, or not, for yours truly, like #Flickr has done for the last 20 years (May 5th 2005).

It's the oldest #Web20 account I've had out there and I can definitely now see Pixelfed taking over for when things might go rogue.

Time now perhaps to resume my Mastodon mojo as well... What have I missed? 😎👍🏻
