Using the overdrop weather app and was really happy with it. Paid for pro version. For the last two weeks or so, it's been comically wrong.

For instance, using any of the providers, it's 90% chance of rain and currently overcast or raining where I live.

Meanwhile, outside, bright and sunny. I could have done laundry this AM.

Meanwhile NERV is saying 30% chance of rain. "clear then cloudy". It doesn't have hour by hour, but it's not wrong

I'm pretty annoyed.

If you like particle animations as in #weatherApp windy etc, this is def to be enjoyed, though 11 years old.

The building blocks of the modelling do show... cross-fade transitions to different animations rather than zoom into detail of larger-scale one. eg the point where the spectacularly modeled #CME reaches earth doesnt engage with the earths mag field until we x-fade to model with earth in it but "parallel" particles from a now excluded sun.

I was hoping it would get to the full 3D animation of the #AMOC / gulf stream viewed from beneath the surface. But we got close-ups of the now water "particles" as bonfire-night rockets instead ;(
