We did celebrate the National Liberation Day just a few weeks back,
but Memorial Day is something different.
Whatever we think about USpolitics nowadays....
we will always be very thankful to the men that fell for our freedom.
On the cemetery 'Margraten' where all the graves are,
our King and Prime Minister both went to comemorate the young men that sacrified their life for our freedom. Those graves are all 'adopted' by families of the region and cared for. Most of them have close ties with the living relatives of those heroes.
