I’m honored to have been invited to speak at NATO HQ in Brussels about both my new cyber-thriller The Virus ( Uitgeverij Lannoo ) (co-authored with Alain Dierckx) and my earlier non-fiction book Cyberdanger ( Springer Nature ).
Sharing insights on cyber threats, digital resilience, and the evolving landscape of cybersecurity at such an important international institution is always a privilege. It was inspiring to discuss how fiction and reality often meet in our field — and why awareness remains our strongest defense.
A big thank you to everyone at NATO for the warm welcome and the engaging conversations. Onwards to more awareness, more dialogue, and stronger cyber resilience for all.
