Parece ser que será trabajo extenso. Actualmente mi OS está un poco lleno de Bloatware porque como instalé arch a mano siendo noob, puede que haya agregado 2 o 3 cosas innecesarias y ahora no se cuales puedo o no desinstalar.
Así que el paso 1 será crear una lista de todo lo que hace funcionar correctamente mi SO y otra de lo que puedo desechar por completo, para luego buscar las alternativas de Wayland y seguir teniendo un SO funcional.
Llevo algún tiempo usando i3wm, la verdad que he notado la diferencia que tiene de un Entorno de Escritorio así que no pienso abandonar los Window Managers.
Sin embargo, he estado viendo movimiento en torno a Wayland, creo que es tiempo de probarlo y ver si tiene diferencias notables a Xorg para mí. Así que pronto estaré instalando Sway, espero no romper nada.🤣
