Public water should not be put up for sale, ever. I'm not confident about this coalition because words are important - their words sound like they are OK negotiating sales of public water - it sounds like covert greenwashing. We need degrowth of ecocide industries & watershed protection for ecological, environmental & human rights purposes - above all other purposes.
Commodifying public water is not in the best interests of the public.

@kagillogly maybe more inclusive is #waterprotection or #waterstewardship. I lived around Chicago early in life. I remember all the refineries we lived next to and the lakes we swam in where you got out out of the water with oil on your swim trunks. Even where you have a lot of water, it is polluted.
