Popular South Okanagan beach reaches historically low water level
The International Osoyoos Lake Board of Control says Osoyoos Lake measured about 30 centimetres lower than what is typical for the month of March. A low snow pack, warm winter, and reduced inflows into the lake are said to have contributed to the issue.

I managed to boat 2½ hours between sets of locked locks. If not for the locked locks, I could have easily boated for 6 hours.

At this rate, it will take a LONG time to leave the restricted area. The clock is ticking, with Canal & River Trust planning to shut locks indefinitely in this part of the Midlands.

I want to quickly deliver the boat to my marina and then head for home.
