A very happy 'partially muscled skeleton stands by the perimeter fence and screams for thirty seconds before vanishing' day to you and yours.
I almost forgot what day it is! Lol

So I read Watchmen knowing “it was important” but not really anything else.
Initially it was confusing, with all the unfamiliar characters, but I was soon sucked in.
This was about 2004-ish, before the internet meme-ified everything. And well before the movie.
It was just great. There some major, *major* plot drops that hit like a sack of hammers. And it’s surrounded by incredible world building. Multiple readings are definitely rewarding.
I guess if you haven’t read it, I suggest resetting your expectations to zero, and giving it a good shot.
I am now arguing with Eldest Child about the ending to Zach Snyder’s adaptation of Watchmen.
"Comprendió que una increíble transformación estaba al alcance de la humanidad."
"El mundo que él disfrutaba dejaría de existir salvaje, sus feroces y pendencieros habitantes serian como un mastodonte en vías de desaparición."
"En extinción."
Yes, I'm now adept at seeing porn in all the ink blots.
And yes, this includes the character in Watchmen. His face is an orgy.
