Metro Vancouver deals with things like wastewater, air quality, regional planning, providing below-market rental housing and more. (Note that they don’t just serve Vancouver - they serve many municipalities, which are listed in the survey.)

Take the survey until March 27, and be sure to let them know that you care about:

- wastewater testing / monitoring for communicable diseases
- air quality improvements, including indoor air quality and aligning building codes with up-to-date air quality standards like ASHRAE 241!

It looks like the lab that tests which variants are in our waste water in Bavaria was on holiday for most of June. The latest sample to be tested is from a month ago and it is almost 50% so-called recombinant lineages. The rest is Omicron JN.1 (13.2%) and Omicron NB1.8.1 (39.6%).

Looks like they started monitoring in the Summer and have now added it to the dashboard. The values are relative values, so the highest measurement is always 100 and all other measurements are relative to that.
