Any time dad and I walk past the town's war memorial, I always dislike that the council allows cars to park right up in front of it (free car park right across the road).

Massive blue truck within a foot of the memorial board, seems terribly thoughtless & disrespectful to me.

Francis William Doyle Jones' 1922 statue of Peace Crowning the Heroes on the Partick and Whiteinch War Memorial in Victoria Park in the west of Glasgow. You only really notice how beautifully sculpted this statue is, especially the mateiral, when the light hits it in just the right way.
