As well as the Legions of Tékumel rules, there is apparently a set of skirmish rules on the way (“Flamesong: Miniature Skirmishes on Tékumel”) with a Kickstarter expected towards the end of the year:
"The initial warbands and STL designs for the upcoming Kickstarter are focused on the Legion of the Storm of Fire and the Ssú, as the novel Flamesong is a strong part of the theme of the campaign… We will also be providing backers with a 3D design terrain piece of a tubeway car and station for Trínesh and his soldiers to fight the Ssú over."
A skirmish game, rather than a full battle, is something I *might* conceivably be able to get to the table.
Kind of an "I ain't dead" post, firstly Dexter living his best lofe, and then my first model house now all painted and finished.
I should post about the Moathouse too. I created it for a wargaming/RPG scenario for GaryCon 2020, but with COVID, I never got a chance to run it. I've run it with friends, and we had a blast!
Posts that I wrote of the build process for both Moathouse and dungeon: https://chgowiz-games.etinerra.com/tag/rescue-of-hommlet/
The battle pic shows why I've decided to use 15mm figures. They fit much better to the scale of the model, which is 1" for 10ft.
#HobbyStreak day 1334:
Two scenarios in #RangersOfShadowDeep - first one with new level 0 characters versus 10 spectres and some, while wounded soldiers had to be escorted off the map. Brutal. My ranger and another stood back to back against the onslaught and killed almost allq of them.
Second was 'attack the tents' with our high level heroes. We fared significantly worse 😆 our tank went down, but all clues were picked up.
Just a reminder that failed prints, with a bit of careful placement, a bit of junk that was around the craft able, and some paint, make for great scatter terrain.
(The rest of the set is also almost done)
