While to the rest of the world the invasion of Poland was a dasterdly act of unwarranted aggression, but to an average german citizen it was justified, or even necessary because the Poles were killing all the ethnic germans in Poland and planned to invade Germany. I mean, that's what the radio and newspaper was telling them about every day for the whole last Summer. I mean, they wouldn't lie about it, right? Why would anyone lie about it.
