One of several, bright yellow #wallflowers started blooming this week. These are under our large cedar tree - in a well mulched rock garden bed. It was delightful to see their flowers emerge again. Most of our other wallflowers bloomed all through Summer & stopped in October. They smell amazing!

This morning I was awoken briefly by the dog and I had The Way by Fastball which then morphed into One Headlight by The Wallflowers playing in my head. Really weird, I haven't thought of either of these songs in over a decade, they were both popular around the same time so maybe that's it?
