While I'm sad that Walker won't be a Dodger anymore, it was clear there really wasn't going to be a spot for him in the rotation, and Friedman was never going to pay him that much. I'm glad Walker is getting paid, even if it's just a 1-yr deal. Wishing nothing but the best for the man.

Looking at the remaining names on the Dodger bullpen, and with the report that Buehler went out to the bullpen from the dugout, it looks like the plan is for Treinen to pitch 7th as well, and then have Buehler pitch 8th and 9th, hopefully to close the game.

That's some serious tightrope act.

Very tough inning for Buehler. With the exception of the down-the-middle home run pitch to Tatis Jr., he didn't really pitch too badly. He wasn't missing many bats, but most of the contacts were grounders that the defense should've handled much better.

But it is what it is, and Dodgers are deep in a hole that the bats will have to claw out of.
